A place for renewal. A tradition for generations.
NORTH SHORE MIKVAH
Central to our faith.
Many Jews see the Shul (Synagogue) as the central institution in Jewish life, but Jewish Law states that constructing a Mikvah takes precedence even over building a Shul. Both a Shul and a Sefer Torah may be sold to raise funds for building a mikvah. In fact, in the eyes of our Sages, Jewish families living together only attain the status of “community” once they have a communal mikvah.
A tradition. A living community.
The North Shore Mikvah offers a peaceful, private setting for the mitzvah of mikvah, with comfortable preparation rooms and a caring attendant to guide your visit. Whether this is your first visit or part of your monthly routine, we welcome your questions.
Your support helps care for this essential community resource and sustain Jewish family life on the North Shore for generations to come.
